Some spot-on points here, though quite depressing from my seat as a post-production professional who's faced scarce work these past 2 years. It's a bloodbath out there in traditional media.

I'm currently talking with a producer about editing a project where they're creating a pitch tape for financiers and underwriters before approaching Netflix. So I am seeing some folks adapting to this new reality.

Thanks - yes, these are really hard times. It's important, if you can, to stay in the game, because I think these things usually self correct - it's just difficult to see where things will land at times. What you're doing sounds sensible to me - turning up to a broadcaster or platform with funding in place will definitely help take any uncertainty away. Stay strong💪...

There is increasing evidence that audiences are seeking more authenticity and personal connection, so publishers will likely need to evolve into platforms that empower individual creators rather than just promoting brands. The shift would mean viewers increasingly support real people over polished corporate content. And this must force broadcasters and streamers to rethink their strategies to stay relevant as media become increasingly creator-driven.
